The snaps below are of a favorite pickle of mine which friends from the North East have introduced me into. From the package, it looks like they are smuggled from Burma.
I'm not sure if this is some sort of a cherry or a plum or maybe a gooseberry.
Appreciate someone to help me with the identification of the fruit used here.
