Vizhinjam 2015

Since our visit to Vizhinjam 2 summers back, this year we decided to explore the beach and light house at Vizhinjam which we missed that time . . . We got to see the majestic waves slam against the boulders which protect the harbour . . . 

Both are must visit places in Vizhinjam. Compared to the lighthouse at Muttom, the challenge at Vizhinjam light house is the ladder climb to the top which is not easy for the faint hearted . . .

A welcome addition to Vizhinjam is the newly built Marine Aquarium. In comparison to the old aquarium, photography is allowed. Unfortunately, I ran out of disc space and could not take much pictures . . .

Vizhinjam Harbour

Similar to last year's holiday, we decided to go scouting along the coastline this time too. This time, we visited the Vizhinjam harbour. The breakwaters putting up a strong front to the enormous waves was quite a site. However, we were in for more sights inside the fishing harbour.
